I’m pleased to write this review for Holly at GEICO. I finally found an insurance agent who actually does her job! I have been through several attempts at finding an insurance agent who will service my needs in a timely fashion and with great expertise. I have no idea why this is so difficult but it has been. I’m grateful to have found Holly because she responds to my messages very promptly and knows the answers, and the answers are correct. I don’t have to question whether or not she’s being truthful and whether or not she has researched the best products for me and the best price prices for me! I have gladly switched my policies to her company and I’m 1000% satisfied with every contact I have ever had with her. Sharron Carpenter reached out to me after I filled out a quote on GEICO's website. She was very professional, double checked the coverage I needed, and ensured all my questions were answered. I forgot to send the information to her to get my insurance set up on time. During Thanksgiving break, I went ahead and sent her the information. A day after she had all the work done and ready to go. I love this type of customer service. I originally switched to GEICO because they offered a much better bundle-and-save rate for homeowners and auto insurance. I purchased both together and received confirmation for the homeowners policy, so naturally I assumed everything was finalized. Unfortunately, on the day I was supposed to pick up my car, I discovered the auto policy had never been approved — and I was never notified. I have a clean driving record, so this was incredibly stressful and confusing.
When I called GEICO corporate, I was transferred multiple times and eventually told I was “denied” simply because GEICO has too many clients in Tennessee right now. I was then offered an alternative policy through an associated company at 2.5x the original bundled rate, and the representative was dismissive and unhelpful when I asked reasonable questions about how this happened.
Thankfully, I then called the local office and spoke with Sharron, and she was an absolute dream. She was kind, calm, knowledgeable, and immediately took ownership of the situation. Sharron was able to get me approved right away for the original bundle-and-save rate, clearly explained everything, and went truly above and beyond to fix what should never have happened in the first place.
Her communication skills, professionalism, and genuine care completely turned around what had been a very frustrating experience. Sharron is exactly the kind of person you hope to reach when you need help — and honestly, the reason I stayed with GEICO at all. She deserves all the recognition.

Holly Geronzin and her ace, Sharron Carpernter saved us $100 per month ($1,200 a year!) for our home/auto insurance versus State Farm. As a retired CEO, MBA, husband for 40+ years, 4 kids, grandchildren, I spent 2 weeks researching to find the best and lowest cost insurance for our home and autos. Tired of all the instagram insurance scam ads, I set out to call all the big name insurance companies. Geico won! And Holly Geronzin and her team are indisputably the best! The insurance industry has changed dramatically. No longer can an insurance agent with the large insurers be competitive. Online insurance is eating away their profits. The “old” Insurance agency model is going the way of the old travel agents. You can get all your insurance online. But wait….you CAN have the personal service of an agent with Geico. I had no idea and at first I didn’t believe it. I peppered Holly for 45 minutes on how they could do it. Holly worked for Geico Corporate for 22 years and fully explained how Geico operates their insurance model. Instead of placing an agent on every corner of a city, they search for the perfect model, servant-hearted citizen, who will wildly exceed your expectations. I would say it follows the same exact model as how Chic-fil-A recruits their Operator-Owners. That Operator (Holly) in every market goes out and hires people who truly care. In our instance we received the unbelievable and greatest agent ever in Sharron Carpenter. If you want to end the “game” of insurance and know you found the greatest/lowest rates, PLUS a staff/team who care and really go all out to serve you, this Geico Nashville office is astonishing! My wife and I fully vetted Holly and discovered a person of impeccable character, family values, and amazing heart for serving humanity. Her family story of a husband who served in the military and the intrinsic desire to help others places her in the ultra extraordinary category in life. Thank you Holly for being there for us.
